My favorite novel series, particularly these, the first three books. This is how I describe these books to my friends:
There is no action. No character development. No romance or sex. It's all 100% pure plot. And yet, it somehow manages to be the greatest series of books ever written. Asimov paints here with a brush-stroke so wide, that the plot itself is the fun ride. A must for those that love hard SF.
