There are so many great reviews of this book already, I will simply limit myself to cutting and pasting what I emailed to a friend the day I finished this book:
"OMG -- I finished the Hero of Ages last night and it was so totally epic!!!! Probably my favorite fantasy series after LotR and Pern. No time to say more now, but I do know at some point I will have to listen to the whole thing again."
