Foundation and Chaos

Note that Greg Bear is writing very much in the style of Isaac Asimov here. Likewise, David Brin and Gregory Benford had a similar style in their novels - all three forming a new foundation trilogy.

Since these three novels come off reasonably well, and the foundation plot is moved along, I would say that The Good Doctor (aka Isaac Asimov) is somewhat better than most at "posthumous collaborations".
