I really do think that Orson Scott Card has gotten a wee bit too carried away with this focus on younger and younger children and their incredible genius and their amazing abilities. Yes, we all know Ender Wiggin was astounding, and so was Bean... but Bean's young children???
What's next - human embryos, eggs and sperm that can wage war on the Buggers?
It is a relief that the author has (apparently) shifted his attention to prequels - re the first formic wars.
