I really enjoyed this novel-in-stories, focusing on the transposition of a multi-racial, multi-cultural South-Asian-ish society to a university-ish planet colony. The plot seemed to fall apart midway (was that domestic terrorism, or terrorist activity related to the newly-declared interplanetary war?) but I really enjoyed the diverse and intriguing characters.
