Childhood's End

Gosh this was good! Especially part 2 of the book. I cried my eyes out for part of it. I am not sure I love the ending but otherwise - I strongly recommend it.

It is very very thought provoking and interesting. What happens if we were handed utopia on a silver platter? Can humanity handle that? There were some strong for-casting of today's society and a lot of science. I am pretty sure that this will be a ghost in the back of my head for some days to come. Sci-fi then it is best and a classic for a reason.
