The Chimes

The idea of a society where people have very little memory skills and rely on auditory aids is certainly intriguing. Unfortunately, the execution was not for me. I didn't like the characters, neither the plot nor the conclusion made sense, and the style of the author didn't help. Maybe it's because I am not very musically inclined.

I still couldn't put the book down, but in hindsight don't know why.
