Biography
Michelle Marquardt lives in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney with her husband, writer and editor Bill Congreve, and their two children. She works as a veterinarian.
Her first novel Blue Silence (Random House), won the George Turner Prize and was shortlisted for the Aurealis and Ditmar awards. She was co editor of 'The Years Best Australian Science Fiction and Fantasy' volumes one to four (Mirrordanse Books). The second volume in the series won a Ditmar Award and Volume Four was shortlisted for an Aurealis Award.
