Biography
Joe Grixti is Head of the School of English and Media Studies. Prior to joining Massey University in 1997, he held lecturing and administrative appointments at the Queensland University of Technology, the University of Malta, and the University of Bristol. He has been a Fellow of the Salzburg Seminar and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Warwick. His teaching and research interests are in media and cultural studies, with a particular focus on the impact of consumerism and globalisation on cultural value, identity and indigeneity.
