Biography
A German author who wrote mainly juvenile novels; many of these were set in German East Africa. Some have called him the "German Jules Verne" others say he was closer to H Rider Haggard in writing style and impact. He made brief forays into SF with books like Distant Worlds. Since the work was plausible, for it's time, it established Mader as a significant figure in the German SF community of the day.
