Biography
Sue Dawes completed an honours degree in Social Science in 1991 and then traveled extensively in australisia. Next came a phase of customer service, social care and finance positions. After her two children, Sue completed an MA in Creative Writing at Lancastor University in 2010. A PhD in Creative Writing followed.
Sue juggles her writing with part-time manuscript assessment and mentor; she teaches Creative Writing at Essex Univeristy. She Reads for a literary journal, is a member of a refugee befreinding service and advocates for those with dementia.
She loves to bake, paint, read, make jewellery and binge TV series, preferably SF & crime.
