Biography
Deborah K. Vleck, the Pen Name for Debby Jones, was a writer, designer, and fiber artist. Creator of many award-winning costumes, she was twice a Best in Show winner of the World Science Fiction Convention Masquerade. She worked as a high school teacher, curriculum researcher, newsletter publisher, database manager, graphic designer, city planner, and full-time mother of two. She was married to a professional astronomer and lived in Canberra, NSW, Australia, as well as Honolulu, HI and St. Paul, MN, USA among other places. She was one of the co-authors of the science fiction novel, Autumn World. She passed away on July 8, 2023.
