Hey daxxh, where are you? My SF book club is at the Beaverton Powell's, not far from me. (I apologize if we've had I've asked before, but I'm old LOL) It seems like that's where most of the SF/F authors come, I think because it's a bigger space than downtown. I try to see all the SF/F authors who come through, even if I haven't read them, although I just missed Gail Carriger and Maria Doria Russell, although I think the latter was promoting a new mystery. I love to wander in both stores, but except for book club ooks, I usually get all my books at the library. The Washington County system is very quick with interlibrary loans, probably because most books only come from the Seattle system.
