Location: Austin, Tx		The Girl With All the Gifts was awesome. I agree that it should have been nominated. If the entire Newsflesh trilogy managed to get nominated, this one more than deserves it. Not that I didn't enjoy the Newsflesh triliogy, just that I love a self-contained story and it was a hell of a story.

Re: subgenre focus. I have really enjoyed picking up a subgenre that I had written off as "not for me" without having read any of it (steampunk), if that's worth anything.
