For 2023, the picture and link are incorrectly for John E. Douglas, the author.
The award was given to John R. Douglas, an editor for over 40 years.
Source: his nephew is my partner, and I was there when the award was given. Also: https://locusmag.com/2023/08/john-r-douglas-2023/

Well, it's a bit embarrassing to make a mistake like that so that was added motivation We always try our best to get the details right but when we don't we do appreciate the heads-up that will come from our members.

While I was looking for info on John I read some of the memorials about him and he sounds like a lovely person. If you would like to expand on my very basic bio for him please feel free to send that along and I'll get that updated. Let me know if you have any questions and welcome to WWEnd!
