Some of us have just polished off the Wheel of Time series...finally. I have complicated mixed feelings about A Memory of Light, and I'd love to read everybody's reviews of the last book.

My favourite characters changed over the series, but Nynaeve for the first half of the series and Mat for the latter. I loved the character development of Siuan and Egwene and many minor characters as well.

Any other opinions?

Perrin always was, and always will be my personal favourite.
Nynaeve I would vote as the objectively best character, because she has so many sides to her, and they all progress beautifully as the story grows.
Slayer is my favourite villain, and I'm disappointed we didn't see any Luc backstory in aMoL.
Taim is my least favourite - he's incredibly selfish, and what he did in aMoL was unforgivable.
