Synopsis
This short story originally appeared in the anthology Dreaming Again (2008), edited by Jack Dann, and was reprinted in Clarkesworld, Issue 115, April 2016. It can also be found in the anthology The Year's Best Science Fiction: Twenty-Sixth Annual Collection (2009), edited by Gardner Dozois. The story is included in the collection To Hold the Bridge (2015).
