Synopsis
A brilliant but eccentric scientist begins to transform into a giant man/fly hybrid after one of his experiments goes horribly wrong.
This short story originally appeared in the June 1957 edition of Playboy. It has been anthologized numerous times, and can also be found in several collections.
It was the basis for the 1958 and 1986 movies of the same name, and served as the inspiration for several sequels to these movies.
