Synopsis
Stoker and World Fantasy Award nominated novelette. It originally appeared in the anthology Acquainted with the Night (2004), edited by Barbara and Christopher Roden. The story can also be found in the anthologies Horror: The Best of the Year: 2006 Edition, edited by Sean Wallace and John Gregory Betancourt, and The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror: Nineteenth Annual Collection (2006), edited by Ellen Datlow, Gavin J.
