Biography
John Ayliff honed his writing skills while working in the computer games industry, and still sometimes calls his protagonist the 'player character' by mistake. He enjoys interesting character drama against a backdrop of hard science fiction. Outside of writing, his interests include computer games, tabletop roleplaying games, and going to the opera. He grew up in the UK but currently lives in Vancouver, Canada.
