Biography
Writer. Run Sycamore Hill Writers' Conference with John Kessel. M.S. in Computer Engineering, English minor, B.S. in Electrical Engineering, both from North Carolina State University. Author of Windows Performance Secrets with Mark Van Name and Bill Catchings, published in September 1998 by Que Press, a division of Macmillan USA. Write articles and reviews of hardware, software and Web sites for technology magazines such as IBM Think Research, Wired, PC Magazine, Yahoo! Internet Life and Windows Sources. Consult and write for various computer companies, including VeriTest (once known as the Ziff-Davis Benchmark Operation), IBM, SAS Institute, Digital City and the now defunct Deja (once known as DejaNews).
