Biography
V.E. (Vicki) Mitchell has been writing for as long as she can remember--mostly, but not entirely, in the field of science fiction. In 1986, she won the national Amazing Stories Calendar Story Contest and sold a short story to a mainstream anthology.Vicki continues to work on novels, short stories, numerous mine histories for the Idaho Geological Survey, and her Ph.D. dissertation on the history of the Bunker Hill Mine. She is owned by her two pound puppies, Shilo and Tuuli, who are making guest appearances in her current novel.
