Biography
Ben Hoffman is the author of a fiction chapbook, Together, Apart (Origami Zoo Press, 2014). His fiction has won the Chicago Tribune's Nelson Algren Award and Zoetrope's Short Fiction Contest, and also appears in print or online at American Short Fiction, Indiana Review, The Missouri Review, Tin House, and elsewhere. He was the 2014-2015 Carol Houck Smith Fiction Fellow at the University of Wisconsin, and is a 2015-2017 Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University. He lives with his wife and their dogs in Oakland, CA.
