Biography
F. Brett Cox's fiction, poetry, essays, and reviews have appeared or are forthcoming in Century, Black Static, Postscripts, Phantom, Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet, North Carolina Literary Review, Kestrel: A Journal of Literature and Arts, New England Quarterly, and numerous other magazines and anthologies. With Andy Duncan, he co-edited the anthology Crossroads: Tales of the Southern Literary Fantastic (Tor 2004). He has served as a juror for the Bram Stoker and Shirley Jackson Awards. He holds an M.A. in English with emphasis in creative writing from the University of South Carolina and a Ph.D. with emphasis in American Literature from Duke University. He is Associate Professor of English and Chair of the Department of English and Communications at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont, and lives in Vermont with his wife, playwright Jeanne Beckwith.
