Biography
Stephen E. Andrews has been writing professionally about books, film and music since 1988 and has worked in the book trade as a bookshop manager, bookseller and writer/editor for 38 years. His Youtube channel is 'Outlaw Bookseller', which is rapidly becoming the premiere channel for serious enthusiasts of Literary Science Fiction.
'100 Must Read Science Fiction Novels' (2006) is in its seventh printing (Bulgarian edition, 2010). '100 Must Read Fantasy Novels' appeared in 2009. '100 Must Read Books For Men' (2008) was the first ever reader's guide to be published aimed specifically at male readers. Andrews has also contributed to 'Record Collector' and 'The Bookseller' magazines, has guest lectured at numerous UK Universities and Libraries and made several appearances on national radio and television.
In 2016 Andrews began contributing material to 'Deep Ends' (the annual J.G. Ballard memorial anthology), publishing essays in two editions and a short SF story ("Saucer Occupant") in the 2019 edition. Indian versions of his 'Must Read' titles on SF & Fantasy have been announced for publication and he is gradually working on new fiction and travel writing projects while Youtubing as 'Outlaw Bookseller'.
