Biography
G. D. Falksen, author, historian and man about town. I am a professional author, MC, blogger, lecturer and public speaker. I can also be found online on my Youtube, Twitter and Facebook page and I can be contacted by email at gdfalksen@gmail.com.
I write in a wide range of genres including historical fiction, pulp adventure, vintage weird, steampunk, modern fantasy, science fiction (often with historical allusions), conspiracy, mystery, suspense and horror. At the moment, I have received the most attention for my steampunk works, although they are only one portion of my writing portfolio.
My novels include Blood In The Skies, the first book in The Hellfire Chronicles series, and The Ouroboros Cycle: A Monster's Coming Of Age Story.
Presently, my adventure serials "An Unfortunate Engagement" and "The Mask of Tezcatlipoca" are appearing in Steampunk Tales. My short story "In The Footsteps of Giants" appears in the Footprints anthology from Hadley Rille Books and my "The Strange Case of Mr. Salad Monday" has been reprinted in Steampunk Reloaded, edited by Jeff and Ann VanderMeer (it originally appeared on Tor.com).
I am also a blogger for Tor.com and ComicMix.com.
I have appeared in The New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Hartford Courant, Marie Claire Italia, Time Out New York, New York Magazine, Bizarre Magazine, and on MTV. I have appeared as a guest at major events and conventions such as Dragoncon and NYCC.
