Biography
GEOFFREY THORNE is the author of the FRINGE SPACE and GRIM ARCANA series of novellas. Since turning pro in 2000, he has been a finalist in the prestigious WRITERS OF THE FUTURE CONTEST with his novella RED/shift and a two time silver medalist in the STRANGE NEW WORLDS short story contest for writers of STAR TREK® fiction.
In addition to writing short stories and novellas for numerous science fiction and fantasy magazines and anthologies, Thorne has also been a writer on such TV series as LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, BEN 10: ULTIMATE ALIEN & OMNIVERSE, ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN and a writer-producer on the TV series LEVERAGE and THE LIBRARIANS.
His novella, THE PLAYLIST, was featured in ELLERY QUEEN'S MYSTERY MAGAZINE in 2013.
PRODIGAL: EGG OF FIRST LIGHT, a comic book adventure he created with artist Todd Harris, was nominated for a GLYPH AWARD in 2011.
He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and far too many comic books.
