'The Bear and the Nightingale' is a wonderful historical fantasy fairy tale set in what is now Russia in around the 14th century. I really loved it. It's gentle, but powerful, it asks you to take your time and not rush but you can't put it down. It's really about the balance between faith and respecting old ways and traditions with strong themes of love, family and home. Really into this one.
