Uber User Posts: 370 Location: Beaverton, Oregon, USA | Like last month, one of the Tolkien posthumous works took me two weeks to read. So the other I picked for the month were shorter novels. Read: The Book of Lost Tales: Part 2 - Tolkien - Tolkien The Cosmic Engineers - Clifford Simak - I Just Want, Clear the Shelves Dies the Fire - SM Stirling - a book club selection - Pick&Mix, Unloved Nova - Samuel R Delany - I Just, Clear, LGBT, 2nd Best Rite of Passage - Alexei Panshin - Clear, 12 in 12 Web of the Witch World - Andre Norton - I Just, Clear, Unloved, P&M, YA The Challenge Tallies: I Just Have to Read More - 9/12 Clear The Shelves - 13/15 Pick and Mix - 29/40 Solar System - 3/3 Tokien - 10/12 Unloved - 11/12 12 Awards - 9/12 YA - 9/12 WOGF - 5/12 LGBT 3/12 2nd Best - 4/6 I'm pretty sure I've bitten off more than I can chew now that I've added some more challenges. With heavy overlap between WoGF and LGBT, I still need about 22 books through the last 4 months of the year. And two more Tolkiens left means around three or so weeks just on those. Fortunately, by choosing short books, and with my minimal social life, just maybe.... Have fun everyone! | ||
