Random quote: "I think that most of us, anyway, read these stories that we know are not "true" because we're hungry for another kind of truth: the mythic truth about human nature in general, the particular truth about those life-communities that define our own identity, and the most specific truth of all: our own self-story. Fiction, because it is not about someone who lived in the real world, always has the possibility of being about oneself. " - Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game) - (Added by: Emil) |

![]() Veteran Posts: 298 ![]() Location: California | I haven't read Invisible Valley yet, but it is on my TBR. I based my request off StoryGraph's list of the book's genres-Fiction, Fantasy, Historical. The description seemed to indicate magic realism. But since I haven't read it yet, I can't speak directly to the matter. I'm fine with leaving out for now and then after reading come back to request it again if it warrants it.

![]() Member Posts: 5 ![]() | All Tomorrows -- C. M. Kosemen, 2006 (supposed to be o with an umlaut) Surprised to not find this book here! Description: All Tomorrows is a speculative sci-fi tale imagining humanity's evolution over billions of years, illustrated with surreal and striking images. It explores how humans might adapt and transform across the cosmos in extraordinary ways. Edited by kcirbuk 2025-09-26 9:57 AM
