Oh dear, such a bad month for reading. Mr Dusty seemed to decline cognitively at an accelerated rate for several weeks, being suspicious and paranoid. One night he wandered off in the dark and fell or collapsed. Smashed his front teeth, cut his cheek, and forehead and lay in the dark and cold, not ideal for an 88 year old man. Waited ages for an ambulance and he was in hospital 9 days. But he is tough as an old boot, has regained some strength, and it turned out he had a water infection which had exacerbated his cognitive issues. Treatment has helped,he is a little more alert and focused, but as you can imagine reading has barely been on the agenda at all. A couple of Edgar Allan Poe stories, and some crime and Kindle Unlimited reads were all I managed in my worst reading month ever since joining this group in 2012!
Doesnt look like I'll complete my WWEnd challenges, first time ever, but we keepplodding
