Probably a long shot, because I haven't run across many people who've seen this movie, but a strange one I found in the video store several years ago is "Immortal": http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0314063/

It's a 2004 adaptation of the director's comic book "La Foire aux immortels". Admittedly I know nothing about the source material or of the director, but the DVD cover grabbed my attention so I rented it. It's a very strange story, but intriguing none the less.
