Random quote: "As long as I'm dealing in honesty, I may as well admit that I have been more influenced (as a person) by my childhood readings of Tolkien and Lewis than I have been by any philosophers I read in college and grad school. The events and characters in Narnia and Middle Earth shaped my ideals, my dreams, my goals. Kant just annoyed me." - N.D. Wilson

I find WWE such a great SF site that I catalog my books using WWE.
However, I find the yellow outline used by BookTrackr to be almost impossible to see. I have used multiple monitors and I have switched back and forth between Chrome (my usual browser) and Explorer and Firefox but the yellow color is still so light that it is almost impossible for me to distinguish it from just the white border.
Quite possibly it is my own eyes that have difficulty seeing your yellow. But if you have heard this before is there any way you can make the yellow border in BookTrackr a little darker yellow in place of the light pastel yellow now in use (that is, it looks like a light pastel yellow to me - maybe it is actually different that what I see).

Hi d3, sorry to hear you're having trouble seeing the yellow highlight.  We've not had any complaints about it before but I have noticed it does not appear as distinct as I would like it on some monitors - especially laptops viewed at an angle.  I'll look into making it a bit darker but I don't want to go too far lest it become annoying to look at.  I'll try tweaking it a bit next week time permitting.

Thanks for the feedback!

Have you considered adding a yellow bar to 'My Reading Stats', for a quick overview over my plans?
