Uber User Posts: 369 Location: Middle TN, USA | Illegible_scribble: There seems to be a number of novels by Resnick all set in the same "world" for lack of a better world. ISFDB calls them Birthright Universe. see here http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/ea.cgi?48 I will eventually get the other in, unless you have any immediate needs I will leave them for later. I am working on my own personal project updating our YA and horror selections.

I am working on my own personal project updating our YA and horror selections. Hmmm.... I knew that the background "world" for most of his stuff was pretty consistent in most of his novels and stories, but I didn't know it was all considered part of one "series". I suppose for the ones which are clearly subseries, like Starship and Widowmakers and Santiago, it probably makes sense to classify them as separate series, like Jack Campbell's two different Lost Fleet series. Anyway, whenever you get to it is fine. Thanks for all your hard work.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 306 | Could you please add Peter Higgins' Truth and Fear, his sequel to the amazing Wolfhound Century? I'm astounded that these books haven't gotten more press. His writing is excellent, as is the world building.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 306 | Don't lose it under your other TBR books! It's so well done. A dark Stalin-like country, you can feel the greyness and the rain. And then there's the revolution- but it's hard to guess what all the players are aiming for.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 306 | Thanks! I'm several hours into the audiobook. Higgins has cleverly reintroduced the numerous characters and subplots in a way that isn't rushed or obviously a way to start a sequel.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 306 | Question: when I finish a book and rate it I see that the number of readers goes up by 1, but not the number of ratings. I'd like to be sure my rating gets factored in. Thanks.

Member Posts: 12 | Hello! There is currently only one Sarah Rees Brennan book in the database! However, the last book in her second trilogy was just released and I just read it and I wish to count it for my Read the Sequel challenge! The trilogy is called "The Lynburn Legacy" and the three books are "Unspoken," "Untold," and "Unmade," in that order. Thanks so much!
