I always enjoy this challenge. It's great to read all of the critical gems and award winners, but it's also fun to just read a bunch of stuff. This is where I can post things like Johannes Cabal and Hellboy, things I enjoy that will never even sniff an award or list.

Five down this year, seven to go. I read the last three of the five Johannes Cabal novels, and two Hellboy novels (that makes seven of the ten). Up next, I'm thinking about some Ishbelle Bee and Eric Brown's Jani series.
