Synopsis
Nebula and Sturgeon Award-nominated short story
Before civilization fell to a plague of zombies, Aisa was a ballet dancer. Now, she spends her time in an abandoned theater, dancing on an abandoned stage for an imaginary audience.
This story was originally published in Daily Science Fiction in September 2014. It can also be found in the anthologies Nebula Awards Showcase 2016, edited by Mercedes Lackey, and The Long List Anthology: More Stories from the Hugo Awards Nomination List, edited by David Steffen. An audio version was published on Pseudopod #428 in March 2015.
