Synopsis
This novelette was first published in Danish as "En blå og skyfri himmel" in Phantazm, Issue 8, 1996. An English translation by Niels Dalgaard appreaed in the anthology The SFWA European Hall of Fame: Sixteen Contemporary Masterpieces of Science Fiction from the Continent (2007), edited by James Morrow and Kathryn Morrow. It can also be found in the anthology Year's Best SF 13 (2008), edited by David G. Hartwell and Kathryn Cramer.
