Synopsis
Young Kinch the Noose, Prince of the House of Eigin and bearer of the singing sword, has by battle won an ancient kingdom. Now comes the season to wage peace. Thus Kinch begins a quest of chivalry, discovery and mystery: to turn enemies into allies, allies into friends; to seek answers in a world of forgotten magic and arcane engines, immortal fortresses and power-laden medallions; to learn why clues in the very stones pointed to not one lost past, but many. The key lies in a hidden desert tower. But the path leads through a gauntlet of cut-throats, assassins and a conquering army. And Kinch can only win peace and knowledge by destroying the sorcerous religion that has him marked for death, the Priesthood of the Eye. And then he will have to find, and free, his foes' blind, whispering god.
