Synopsis
SET A THIEF
For ten years U.S. and Soviet Mutual Inspection Teams roamed one another's countries searching for breaches of the Arms Agreements. They never found one.
Then American Intelligence learned that the Soviets were read to launch a deadly chemical weapon against the United States, and Admiral Richardo Handy had to locate it--and neutralize it. He sent in his best agents, and when they failed, he had no choice but to play his hole card: Keefe McCann, a con man in jail for life.
Springing MeCann from prison and sending him to Moscow was easy. And convincing the Soviet scientists to part with the information should be no problem for an expert con man. But staying ahead of the KGB and getting the infrmation back to Handy would be the trickiest con MeCann had ever pulled... and the survival of the United States depended on it!
