Synopsis
The twenty-first century had electronic scanners and listeners of all degrees of effectiveness, with computers programmed to produce any information about anyone in minutes, and robots geared to all the subtleties of surveillance. What place could there be for a private investigator?
Ed Braxton knew that his vocation was an anachronism in the eyes of most people, but when it came down to actual practice, there was no substitute for the human factor, in many cases.
