After a good night goes badly wrong, Dar-elLan-Martak finds himself on the run for a murder he didn't commit.

With the vicious and much-hated grey soldiers fast on his toes, Lan must find a way to escape - and Cenotaph Road may just be the answer to that.

Legend has it that if you lie down in the crypt of a long-dead hero, when the moon is full and the clock strikes midnight, you will be transported... elsewhere.

But Lan soon discovers that one cannot escape ones problems so easily.

Hoping for a safe haven, he finds only a stronger desire for vengeance on the other side.

With an arachnid companion at his side and a treacherous journey ahead of him, Lan must stay hidden from the grey soliders that litter every world, all whilst seeking vengeance for the death of his love.

In a race against time, Lan and Krek must journey up Mount Tartanius, a huge mirrored mountain, if they hope to retrieve an ancient artifact that control access to all the portals along the Road.

But if Claybore reaches it first, then they will be stranded in this world forever...

The Cenotaph Road is a link between worlds that not many people travel along.

However, Lan Martak and his humongous but gentle arachnid partner Krek are not the only beings travelling the Cenotaph Road. But who else is crossing between worlds?

The wizard Claybore's body has been disassembled, but his spirit lives on. He wants to use the road to find all the pieces of his disassembled body, so his evil can reign forever. Will he succeed?

Meanwhile, the road leads to the lair of the master of illusion, Luister len-Larrotti, who has captured the beautiful Inyx by becoming the image of all she loves.

Only Lan can save her and stop Claybore. his own magic is growing... but will it grow fast enough?

The Cenotaph Road has held many adventures in the past, but this is one of the biggest yet.

The travelers soon learn that Claybore's tongue now belongs to another. In a race against time, Lan and his companions must find the Iron Tongue before Claybore does.

Will they be able to find its user? And will they be able to defeat the nefarious mage once and for all?

Fire and Fog

Cenotaph Road: Book 5

Lan Martak is still journeying the Cenotaph Road with Inyx and Krek and they find themselves in the middle of a fight with Claybore.

They have located the evil magician's tongue, cut out when the rest of Claybore's body was dismembered to prevent him from taking over the universe. The tongue resides in a weak leader, but Martak has to fight against Claybore's champion despite the disadvantage.

With a combination of sorcery and swordplay, Martak defeats Claybore's champion, but not before Claybore's revenge, the champion's sword thrown unerringly at Martak and cleaves his jaw from his face.

In a desperate bid to save Martak, Inyx and Krek place Claybore's tongue in Martak's mouth and the powerful tongue allows Martak to command himself to heal.

The group continues to travel the road in search of Claybore to defeat him yet again and prevent him from taking the universe under his control.

Strange Hereslers, dangerous fogs, and a long fight under the mountain Yerrary will lead to the heroes finding new friends, discovering the depths of magic, and perhaps lose what they hold most dear.

Pillar of Night

Cenotaph Road: Book 6

Lan and Kiska k'Adesina are hunting for Claybore's legs.

The sorcerer had been dismembered and his parts strewn along the infinite length of the Cenotaph Road.

Over the years, through the millennia, Claybore had slowly reunited his parts.

Only Lan Martak stood between Claybore and domination of not a single world but myriads of them.

Lan had destroyed the sorcerer's skin and in his own mouth Lan tasted the metallic tang of the magical tongue once used by Claybore to speak spells and world-wrecking curses.

Now he is forced to an unknown world, a planet of evil enchantment and lost souls, where the final lesson of magic lay silenced in the tomb of a hero.

Will Lan break the spell and stop Claybore? Or will an ancient curse close the road behind him... forever?
