New User Posts: 4 | Okay sorry if this list gets a little long -- I just started using BookTrackr yesterday so it's all very fresh in my mind! Alice Bradley Sheldon -- I'm wondering if she should be listed as Tiptree? just cause probably that' the name most people will be looking for, not Sheldon. Books: Her Smoke Rose Up Forever Star Songs of an Old Primate Brightness Falls from the Air Crown of Stars The Starry Rift Out of the Everywhere and Other Stories Byte Beautiful Joanna Russ -- We Who Are About To... Markus Zuzak -- The Book Thief may or may not count as SpecFic, depending on how you look at it. It's got a personification of death? So that's something Orson Scott Card: Wyrms Hart's Hope Keeper of Dreams (short story collection) Maps in a Mirror (short story collection) The Worthing Saga Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus Songmaster Treasure Box Homebody Enchantment Magic Street Ellen Klages -- Portable Childhoods Tamora Pierce The Song of the Lioness Quartet: Alanna: The First Adventure, In the Hand of the Goddess, The Woman Who Rides Like a Man, Lioness Rampant The Immortals series: Wild Magic, Wolf-Speaker, Emperor Mage, The Realms of the Gods Protector of the Small Quartet: First Test, Page, Squire, Lady Night Tricksters duology: Trickster's Choice, Trickster's Queen Circle of Magic: Sandry's Book, Tris's Book, Daja's Book, Briar's Book The Circle Opens: Magic Steps, Street Magic, Cold Fire, Shatterglass The Will of the Empress Melting Stones Diana Wynne Jones Chrestomanci series: Charmed Life, The Magicians of Caprona, Witch Week, The Lives of Christopher Chant, Mixed Magics, Conrad's Fate, The Pinhoe Egg Dalemark Quartet: The Spellcoats, Cart and Cwidder, Drowned Ammet, Crown of Dalemark Derkholm series: Dark Lord of Derkholm, Year of the Griffin Sylvia Engdahl -- Enchantress from the Stars Again, sorry for the long list -- and apologies for the fact that I'm inevitably going to post in here with more things.

Uber User Posts: 263 Location: Gunnison, Colorado | @Nefario: I actually thought the same thing as I was requesting it. I had to look it up to make sure. I've just read through the whole series in rapid succession and have almost no idea which pieces of the series go with each book title (except for Explorer, my favorite so far). Precursor and Pretender have been used, but Protector is the one that just came out. As I write this, I can't even remember the title of the one I'm on now, but I know it's book 13, the first of the fifth trilogy (!). But I'm enjoying it, so what the hell...

Extreme Veteran Posts: 556 Location: Great Lakes, USA | Looks like my request was in the wrong place, so I'll add it again here. Can you add Nalo Hopkinson's Sister Mine to the database? I want to read it for the WoGFchallenge. Thanks!

Admin Posts: 4005 Location: Dallas, Texas | So, it's been a while since we got a batch of these done for you guys but we finally have some new books for you:
We also just added a bunch of new books for the WoGF reading challenge so there are some book requests from this thread, for books by women authors, that ended up over there. It was just easier to split along the gender line than to search through this thread for them. Happy reading!

New User Posts: 1 | Hello, Been using the the site for quite sometime now. This will be my first post. I have always had good recommendations from lists and compilations that people post online for Scifi books. The books included in these lists might give users more exposure to a wider variety of sci fi. http://io9.com/5254742/10-greatest-libertarian-science-fiction-stor... http://listverse.com/2008/04/18/top-10-obscure-but-superb-science-f... http://listverse.com/2008/08/13/15-memorable-alien-races-in-science... http://listverse.com/2007/08/18/top-15-great-science-fiction-books/ http://listverse.com/2009/02/12/10-great-post-apocalyptic-science-f... http://theweeklyansible.tumblr.com/post/20777236577/50-sci-fi-fanta... Uber User Posts: 857 Location: The Wilds of Washington | I must have been bored so I did a bit of research and found some missing books you can add to the Easton Press list: Found on current ebay auctions: The Mysterious Island The Engines of God Virtual Death These below were on the Easton press website: Lensman saga - first six only, no Masters of the Vortex The Land that Time Forgot trilogy The Land that Time Forgot by Burroughs The People that Time Forgot by Burroughs Out of Time's Abyss by Burroughs They Walk Among Us series Who Goes There? by Campbell The Puppet Masters by Heinlein The Midwich Cuckoos by Wyndham The Man who Fell to Earth by Tevis The Invasion of the Body Snatchers by Finney At the Earth's Core by Burroughs You might also consider: American Gods She Easton has an edition for these two out, but they're listed under fantasy. But since they're in the database anyway...

Uber User Posts: 857 Location: The Wilds of Washington | To continue with Easton press: The Riddle-Master of Hed by Mckillip has a easton press edition, it's listed as a 1998 production. The Millennium Blues by Gunn, in 2001 The Professor Challenger Series, all three books have been done by Easton Press as a matched set, 2005 The Lost World, The Poison Belt and The Land of Mists Magician Apprentice / Magician Master by Feist were done in 1998 as a single book.

Uber User Posts: 794 | According to those nice Amazon people there is a new Priscilla Hutchins' novel (Jack McDevitt's Academy series) called Starhawk. Let the Nebula logrolling commence.
